Common questions
- What is the maximum CRS score?
- 1,200 points under the current rules. From November 3, 2026, it is 1,270, because the new labour market integration factor is worth up to 150 points instead of 80 for Canadian work.
- What is a good CRS score?
- It depends on the draw. Canadian Experience Class draws in 2026 needed 507 to 523, while French-language draws needed 382 to 435 and healthcare draws 467 to 475. Every cut-off is on the Express Entry draws page.
- How is a CRS score calculated?
- By adding four parts: core human capital (up to 500 single today, 570 from November 3), spouse factors (up to 40), skill transferability (up to 100) and additional points (up to 600). With a spouse, your own core maximum is lower and the spouse factors make up the difference.
